The design team met for the first time to discuss the project, this was the first time that we had met as a group and Dan McTiernan was also present. It was put forward that the building should be a small exhibition space that is entirely made from materials found on the whywaste website, we only have a small amount of time on site, and the buidling needs to be demountable if possible.
It was therefore generally agreed that the building should be prefabricated, and that the design should be driven by the materials that we find on the website. Due to the fact of usingwaste materials we need to be conscious that the building needs to be very well designed in order to avoid looking like a pile of rubbish.
